“Walking into the fire”: The Gift of Being Called Out (With Love, But No Bullshit)

Christina Blackmon: An emerging voice within the WEL-Systems® community

In a world where women are familiar with the tightening grip of holding back from giving voice to their Truth, Christina Blackmon rises to the occasion and speaks unapologetically about the Truth of her experience.

In the last few days, I have had the absolute pleasure of reading and digesting her words about her experience with the Signature WEL-Systems introductory experience: Decloaking and Living Authentically (and me as the facilitator). In this series, Christina holds nothing back — starting from day one where she speaks about “Walking into the fire: The first 24 hours of Decloaking” to “The moment I let go: Surrendering to the Decloaking process”.

Each piece is deeply revelational and potently inspirational as Christina speaks not only to her personal experience, but the power of the process itself.

In these two pieces, she captures the essence of the process and the potential of the process, engaged.

I literally have chills all over my body every time I read each of these pieces (and yes, I have read them multiple times!). I am trying to pick some quotes, but THE WHOLE DAMN THING is worthy of being quoted.

For now, I leave you with this:

“At some point within the first 24 hours, something cracked.

It wasn’t a breakdown.
It wasn’t a single moment.

It was more like a slow unraveling
A loosening of the grip I didn’t even know I had.

And when the realization hit, it hit hard:

I was still apologizing for existing.”

If you can identify with this experience of “apologizing for existing”, I invite and encourage you to follow Christina’s Substack and delve into these two pieces, in particular (and there will be more, as it’s an unfurling series of revelations).

  1. Walking into the fire: The first 24 hours of Decloaking

  2. The moment I let go: Surrendering to the Decloaking process”
